UTEP's 51,000-seat Sun Bowl Stadium, nestled in the foothills of the Franklin Mountains, is host to the nationally televised collegiate football bowl game of the same name and is home to the UTEP Miner football team. The stadium has also been the venue for major performances by artists such as The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, U2 and Ricky Martin.
