The Chihuahuan Desert Gardens

The Chihuahuan Desert Gardens (CDG) opened in 1999. Founder and Botanical Curator Wynn Anderson and his staff are continuously developing the plantscape, so there is always something new to explore. The CDG are a certified Texas Wildscape site, and largely chemical free, so you will see many bees and ants as well as birds and butterflies most of the year.
